Career

He made his film debut in The Way Home. Then Yu went onto television dramas Love Letter, Sad Love Song and The Legend where he played teenager Damdeok. Both Yu and Kim Bum were originally cast for the film 71: Into the Fire which was based on true story about 71 students however they were replaced by his Sad Love Song co-star Kwon Sang-Woo and T.O.P from Big Bang.
