FT island New member - 송승현 Song Seung Hyun (Replacing 오원빈 Oh Wonbin)

After Oh Won Bin left, FT Island once again has five members.

FT Island’s new member is Song Seung Hyun (age 18), at 180cm and 60kg. He will fill in Oh Won Bin’s spot as a guitarist and vocalist, and also plans to add some rap.

Song Seung Hyun said, “I’m working hard not to fall behind the other members, and I will do my best to help prepare for the next album.”

FT Island is expected to resume activities in mid-February with a mini-album.

On January 28, F&C Music announced that guitarist Oh Won Bin suddenly left the band FT Island.

He started as a member of the group, but said that there were long time differences with the other members and the music personally, and stopped activities with them.

FT Island’s agency F&C Music said, “The fans knew about these rumors coming out. But Oh Won Bin is the one who made the final decision. And at the end of the discussion, it was the team’s final decision.

“Oh Won Bin will not leave FT Island a four-member band. A new member will come along with their new mini-album in February.”

FT Island five member idol band has been rearranged. The quitting member Oh Won Bin (19)'s empty spot will be filled by Song Seunghyun (18).
Song Seunghyun at 180cm, weighing 60kg's has a tall and slim figure. He will be doing guitar and vocal, and be given the role of doing rap.
F&C Music on the 29th stated that "Considering that FT Island is a teenage boyband, a talented trainee with a fresh new image, Song Seunghyun has been selected."
A mini album has been announced for FT island around the middle of February, and they will resume activities then.
Meanwhile, Guitarist Oh Wonbin who showed a difference in opinion of music, after consulting the agency, voluntarily withdrawed.
